Of course, don't you?? Actually I was thinking of it perched on my rack which definitely wouldn't take it ...
My 'high end' moving coil cartridge is an Ortofon Quintet black - very nice, but I have the most fun with my second turntable swapping my Grado and Pickering/Stanton cartridges in and out. Good luck - there are so many to choose from.
Some Glenn Gould on the TT now: Sibelius-- Three Sonatines, Op.67 and Three Lyric Pieces, Op.41. Recorded 12/76 & 3/77 at Eaton Auditorium, Toronto. Released November 1977.
Of the brands on your list list, I've heard a Dynavector 20x2L at the home of an audiophile friend who has a critical ear and tastes that range from rock to classical. He had the cart professionally installed/aligned and is running it through the Dynavector P75 Mark 3.5 phono stage, which seems a perfect match--as it should be with the same brand cart & stage. Playing my records on his system, it sounds very transparent with great extension and resolution.

So you bought that box? I have a few of the LP's by George Guest but am unsure about getting the CD box ...
I don't think I've ever heard any of these recordings before but I've been more and more exploring vocal music and this seemed like a good deal.
First listen to "Cecilia & Sol - Dolce Duello" performed by Cecilia Bartoli, Sol Gabetta and Capella Gabetta directed by Andres Gabetta on Decca.
(CD Harmonia Mundi "Les Nouveaux Interprètes" German Press HMN91 1623) 1997 .... to say these performances are outstanding would be an understatement .....
Any favorite recordings of the Bartok String Quartets? On another forum the Ramor Quartet received very high praise from someone, though I've never heard them.
His mentor is Christoph Eschenbach. Because of that, until last year when Eschenbach left the NSO, Lang Lang would do a week long residency at the Kennedy Center every year. I don't own any Eschenbach albums, unless it's in a mega box, but I don't remember anyone criticizing him for banging on the piano.
I have quite a few Eschenbach recordings and have found him to be somewhat mainstream. I have heard about the name Bang Bang being applied to LL, particularly at the CMC ...
I'm just surprised Eschenbach didn't temper it a little. Maybe he did. I don't have any Lang Lang recordings except those that came in mega boxes.
Much to long looking at lists on tracks and finding them on the NAS. In any case one's to cheesy and the other to sweet. Kitsch - Wikipedia
