(CD Decca German Press 414 290-2) 1985 ..... recorded June 1984 @ Jesus-Christus-Kirche Berlin .... Chailly`s Bruckner 7 has nothing flashy at the first listen, still he admirably compiles structures and details in sensitive co-operation with the Radio-Sinfonie-Orchester Berlin ....

Would have loved to hear her record a complete cycle of Mozart's piano sonatas.

I like these performances quite a bit

Oh dear, this is not what I want to hear. But to be honest, the only time I remember life in slow-motion was double physics lesson at school ...

I need to get this. When visiting Vienna last year we walked into one of their amazing baroque churches and they were giving a free lunchtime performance of this work.
Was a beautiful experience. It was here -

Ravel: Piano Concerto in G major etc. Berlin P.O. cond Abbado with Martha Argerich on piano.1967/75 Remaster 1986, cd (r) 1987 DG "Galleria" 419 062-2
Another one of the Galleria's I bought in the early days of building up a collection on cd being familiar with the tape issue of the Piano Concerto whose playing on this recording I still love.

When I was taking mathematics course at grad school, there was always a 5-min break if the lecture was over an hour in duration ...

How do you like Magaloff Chopin Nocturnes? He was supposed to be a big deal Chopin interpreter for his generation ...

I have his entire Chopin box and a few of his Chopin recordings on some London Treasury Series LP ...

I wish they'd hurry up and release something by Bang Bang on vinyl. So I could go and play it on a Revolver! :D:biglaugh:

I like Harnoncourt and love Telefunken Das Alte Werk LP discs by the boatload. Just wish they weren't so bloody hard to find in Eastern Tennessee in the wild.
