Saw this over at Mono & Stereo and was intrigued. Looks pretty insane, especially with an efficiency of 105 dB.

Pretty much any SET tube amp could drive these to heaven...

The upper (yellow) part looks like bees heaven.

Looks cool. I have very limited experience with horns, but my limited experience has left me loving the retro-futurist look of 'em -- especially the high design modern ones, but not liking the sound too much.

Kind of hope it's a mono system, with a cocktail cabinet. Given my property could only hold one of these...I should be able to drown my sorrows, in luxury.

I know they're horns. They may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I like them because they are horns.

I love it, but who wants to get on their hands and knees to change records? That deck would be up high on my rack.

What a great media rack. The top one is for CD storage and the Bottom for LP's.

They remind me of those old JBL speakers ( forgot the model ) with horns on top.

Ahhh... OK. When I read "Nice, but I'm a horn guy" I thought that you liked them, but since they weren't horns they weren't for you. Now I see what you mean :)

yes, those are very fine. With 105dB you could use a very low powered amp, like one based on the 45 tube or the VT-52 tube. Not many speaker systems would work with less than 1w, but those might.

Hey Guys, thanks for all the compliments. While I did not do the cabinetry on these, I am responsible for them coming into the world in this form. Reproductions of theold RCA MI 9462 Bass bins and Altec 1505 Horns with GPA 288 alnico drivers. Im currently driving them with a pair of completely modded pair of Altec 1570 amps by Tom Tutay. While this is a ridiculous amonut of power for 105db effciency speakers, believe it or not the headroom justifies it. Effortless is the word. Ive added new Xovers that are passively bi amp able. I live in the mid Atlantic area and anyone with a serious einterst is welcome to get in touch and come for a listen. The website is www.livesounddesigns.com Phone # is there as is more info. thanks again.
