The picture is of the woman, in a tight dress, reflected in a wall of mirrors. Maybe a curve effect of the wall, because her image gets repeated perhaps ad infinitum.

I think I had a small copy of it in the early Internet days but seem to have lost track of that one.

And Googling in recent years hasn’t turned up anything.:(

Pretty sure what I am remembering was in colour, and much more repetition in the wall, but I like this too, so thank you!

Don't think so. Definitely was a photo, not a painting.

Are you sure you are looking for an old picture from the times of the classic Hollywood beauties?
I could find a few mirror shots but most were black & white like this:

That's what I thought when I saw the picture. I thought it was the one he was looking for.

Also, "Shawshank Redemption" comes to mind each time Rita Hayworth is mentioned.

Nothing so far looks like what I remember. My sense is that it was landscape rather that portrait shaped. Maybe I saw something that had been colourized?

There is this Marilyn scene from How to Marry a Millionaire. Fits some of the criteria, but not a lot of repetition.

That has to be it! Great find!
I've seen the film but I couldn't recall that scene.

There's also a B&W still of that picture. Used as a promo.

And now I've Googled with more info and have a large copy, although B&W, of the image :)

And Googling a bit further on, a colour version, though with Alamy watermark.
