Looking for Canadian Based Online Audio Hardware Stores

With the Canadian dollar still very low and international shipping continuously increasing, I am trying to find Canadian based online audio hardware sites. At the moment I am looking for a relatively inexpensive piece of equipment (Pro-Ject Speed Box II) but may be looking to upgrade to a new TT soon as well.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

 

Never have shopped at these places but...Crutchfield has a solid reputation and is international. Audio Oasis I've heard of before as well. Modern Sounds seems along the lines you're looking for. I'll defer to anyone with actual purchase experience with these companies but they seem very reputable and a good place to start. Another I do have experience with, in person that is, is The Sound Room. Great service from these guys and are not pushy at all.

It might be worth doing a search for Canadian based audio hardware stores and seeing if they do online as well. Many do.

I've also been to Audio Oasis. A friend bought speakers there. No complaints. Definitely felt we got a good deal and good advice.

 

I'll add Audio Basics and Soundstage Fine Audio. I've dealt with both for years and they've been excellent. Never an issue.

Audio Basics has sales regularly and their packaging is second-to-none.
