So i'm trying to look for more punk rock bands, but with a particular image and music style.

A style innovated by the Ramones, The Real Kids, or The Gruesomes. **Fast tempos**, **Overgrown Bowl Haircuts**, and ideally from the **70s - 80s**. No needles, no pins, no spikes.

    Any suggestions?

I would say The Lurkers had a more Teddy Boy/Rockabilly fashion style

The look the OP is referring too is more US orientated than the UK style of punk.

Here you go -- bowl cuts, Ramones sound -- and Joey Ramone's brother on lead vox!

The earliest incarnation of The Scientists (Australian band) fits the mold pretty well. They went through a post punk / new wave period and ended up straight ahead rock in the mid-eighties or so.

They're getting a touch "new wave" in their look here but the punk roots still show through.

Off the top of my head....Also from Boston: Classic Ruins, The Dogmatics, Neighborhoods(their earliest stuff on Ace Of Hearts), Nervous Eaters

And...The Reducers, The Heartbreakers, The Customs(from Cinci, Peter Greenberg's band after leaving the Lyres...great band), The Pagans,Teenage Head(from Canada...their 1st lp is classic). There's many more but out of time.

THE RUTS....had a few hits in the UK and were very underrated IMHO.
`Staring at the Rude Boys`.......(Rude Boy being Jamaican slang for a `Gangsta`).

The Boys - try something like First Time on YouTube.

The Buzzcocks and Undertones were kind of the UK's Ramones (fast, catchy and poppy) but it's insulting to both to just call them Ramones copyists.

The Newtown Neurotics were big Ramones fans
