I have about 400 DCC Silvers I want to sell, where is the best place to list them? Is there a place here on Stevehoffman.tv, or am I better off going to Ebay? Thanks for the advise. Harry
These were from a deal I made about 2 years ago, and they are all unopened. I am hoping for about $1 a piece. Thanks
I have not sorted through these or made lists....I am hoping to sell them as one lot. I can look through them and find specific ones, but I will charge more for them. I am not looking to gauge anyone, just do a fair fair deal. If anyone wants all 400 for $400, that would be cool. Keep in mind I don't have any that were released in the last 2 years.
Harry, How many different titles do you have? I read that Dave wants Johnny Winter and The Stray Cats. Let me make a wildest speculation: Dave doesn't want 200 copies each of those two. Were I a dealer looking to buy, I would want to know what I am getting for $400. $1 per disc means 400 discs worth of shelf space will be taken.
Paul, You are right. I just looked in the boxes, these are 400 DIFFERENT titles, lots of weird stuff(my opinion ) and some pretty cool stuff. It is basically the aluminum set from 1999. Just to clarify my original question. Where is the best place to sell these? Thanks
There is definitely interest on this site for many DCC titles but as there is currently no forum for buying or selling you would have to ask for private replys and correspond directly with the buyers. You can go the ebay route as it's obviously set up for this kind of dealing but unless you want to sell the whole lot at once you'll need to post each disc individually. You may want to try here first and sell the leftovers on ebay.
I quit buying DCC just for the sake of buying DCC a while back. If you had a list or something I think you could do well selling to other members.
While we'd all like a shot at a favorite one, if you want to sell them as one lot, then maybe Ebay is the way to go. Or you could set up an Ebay Store and list them all individually. Or you might contact Musicforasong.com and see if they would buy them and resell them.
Hi, I don't know if you have these, but I would be interested in buying a full set of the "ROCK THE FIRST" and "ROCK OF THE 70's" and the "MUSIC FOR A BACHELOR'S DEN" series. There are also lots of others that I would be interested in if I had a list... If all of the discs are in mint condition and not cutouts, I might be interested in the whole lot. Feel free to email me if you are interested. My email is [email protected]. Thanks, Tony Caldwell
I have 2 people interested in the entire collection, so they are first in line. I did open the boxes last night and made a list of what was in the boxes and WAY overestimated the total. I have about 158 different CD's with some duplicates.(about 10) Most are shrinkwrapped, some are cutouts(some...), some aren't even DCC I don't think(Rolling Stones, Bruce Cockburn, Jesus and Mary Chain???) All are in new condition, and just saw the light of day for the first time in several years. 95%+ are DCC Silver. I did find about 10 golds in the lot too, but I am going to hang on to those for the time being unless someone REALLY wants them. If I don't make a deal for the whole lot, I will look to piecemeal them out. The cost will be in line with going rates. The list is attached:
Lot Sold I want to thank everyone for being so nice and helping me move these discs. They have been sold as a set. Thanks again for your support. Harry Straub
Oooh... Oooh.. I know! (wasn't me though -- I was apparently second in line And I don't think there were any golds...
