  1. solved the light problem with my Lounge by placing it in the rear of my equipment It's constantly left on so don't have to worry about turning it on and off and the light is no longer an issue

Any of you lounge lovers know if this unit has a subsonic filter? I am hoping this unit has one so that I can order it :)

I recently adjusted the treble pots inside my Lounge, it really brought the tone into balance with my system.

Not sure why I bothered asking. Just ordered one from the source. This thread is mostly to blame.

No subsonic filter (I use the KAB RF-1 with mine).

I've spent the money, so I've already decided that I love it! Considering the only phono pre amps I've had before are onboard and the Project Phono Box S, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be please with the sound.

I think it'll be cool to hear just how much of an improvement you hear. And let's not mince words - you WILL get to hear a lot of stuff over again which, frankly, is a treat unto itself :)

Do tell. How? Is this difficult for an amateur?

I love mine, but my ears are 58 years old..

I think you're going to be pretty happy. I use one with my Yamaha AS-801 and I love the sound. Now go sit by your mailbox :)

I bought mine about a year ago. With all the positive feedback the LCR had. I figured I couldn't go wrong. It's been great so far. It really opened up the dynamic range of my system. It seems to work wonders on a lot of systems. Good luck with your new one. I'm sure you'll like it as much as all of us.

Got my MKIII today. Twas an upgrade from the built in phono on my yamaha A-s801. Tis an upgrade indeed. I'm on my 2nd LP and my ears are smiling ear to uh...well you get my drift. Can't wait until it breaks in. My goal for this weekend is to spin 40 lp's and have it broken in by Sunday. Thanks for the advice, sounds great so far! I was selling my bronze cartridge/thorens 160 short without it.

I'm shocked some don't like the blue lights. Gives my right eye something to do while my left eye is staring at the lava lamp.

Anyone by chance compared a Lounge against a Elliott P06 phono amp?

Well I'm happy with my 58 year old ears, but they don't hear high frequencies quite as well as they used to...that is what I was getting at.

Check with fellow member Morinix before attempting the adjustment to be sure you won't void your warranty.

There's two small blue trim pots on the circuit board. They have small white dials with an arrow symbol cut into them.

If you feel the unit lacks treble, try using a small flat tip to turn the dials 180 degrees from their current position. The dials do have stops, they won't turn 360 degrees, so don't force them. If the dial won't turn, try the other direction.
I believe 180 degrees is the full boost.

Of course, only attempt this while the unit is completely disconnected.

I've got the same setup (Yamaha A-S801/Lounge). Very happy with it.

The layout of yours is different from my own. I don't see any trim pots on your board. You might try contacting Morinix.
