So, it won't do ISO 100...so what? Some sensors are naturally more sensitive than others. Having an ISO 100 setting but using the same sensor would give you no benefit in quality at all. The only advantage would possibly be in extreme bright situations with slow shutter speeds but it would only gain you 1 stop. They make neutral density filters for a reason. I can tell you that in the 2 1/2 years of owning my D70 that not having the option of ISO 100 has not mattered one bit.
