how about "I Love" by Tom T. Hall, where he talks about loving lots of things, barely a mention of people; and...not exactly people, but a part of people: "ILBT's" by Joe Walsh

I would have rather said "I Love This House", a 1984 outtake first heard on "Oobu Joobu" in 1995 that was belatedly issued on one of the "Flaming Pie" CD singles.
Incidentally, it was recorded just after Paul moved from his circular-shaped house in Peasmarsh to another, bigger one nearby. And it was also in 1984 that Paul started recording at Hog Hill, a few miles from there.

In the same vein, but a slightly different subject - Does Alice Cooper's I love the dead count? Or Cold Ethyl for that matter?

Another one about cars - Ry Cooder's (Every woman I know) Crazy 'bout an automobile.

I thought about the Alice Cooper loves a corpse song too, BUT that was a person....albeit a dead one but still some form of human being!

I think that song is ostensibly about a newborn (although the somewhat disturbing alternate meaning can certainly be read into it!)
