Heh....the poster from A Nod is as Good as A Wink to a Blind Horse....
I never knew there was a poster originally included in that album until a couple of years ago. My copy came with it as the gatefold, not a poster even though I bought it the day it was released...
I cant post it here, but how about the poster that came with Queen's "Jazz"?
I had this on my wall for many years:
The Beatles 1978 Numbered Capitol Blue Box.
Not mine, but here's a framed one.
I bought a copy of Imagine in the 80's and the poster was included.
That would be my pick. Complete with a companion booklet of outtake pics, of course.
That just looks wrong.
Thanks, I had long forgotten there was a poster in my "Imagine". Maybe I never knew.
Dang it, you beat me to it!!!
This one was kind of cool.
This one is the Bonus Photo included on some "England's Newest Hit Makers" album by The Rolling Stones....it should be framed!!!
My dad had this set and poster, and I was always impressed just by its size. This picture is not mine.
Yes, if you get it professionally linen-backed by a picture framer or art dealer, but it's expensive
Another couple of posters from Live At Leeds albums by The Who....should be framed too!
The Who - Face Dances
I've still got that whole set of LPs and inserts. The poster in your picture is MASSIVE! I actually tried to hang my copy on my wall in college, but it always eventually fell down because it was too heavy for the tape. I believe there were two more smaller posters in that Chicago LP set as well.
Great poster - I was going to post the same thing. I recently won an auction for a NM first UK pressing of this album for $10, and was shocked to find the poster inside in mint condition (there was no mention of the poster in the description). It doesn't appear to be a standard size, so I haven't framed it yet (I measured it at something like 22.2"x29.75"). Does anyone have any suggestions for framing without spending a ton of money to get it custom framed?
Why can't you post it here? Yes, I have that poster also. Excellent..........
That Chicago poster is by far the biggest poster I have ever seen that came with an LP. Anyone seen any as big or bigger?
Combat Rock , this spent most of the 80s above my bed .
The H.R. Geiger poster from the Dead Kennedys "Frankenchrist."
Best Of Blondie ,
this was more strategically placed
