I voted Don't Care. She's very talented and successful and I wish her all the best, but I don't really care for her work. I have nothing but respect for her though.

This. 100x this. Visibility is so important, and that's what these women offered the LGBT community. And +1 on Roseanne. A true visionary.

I could not stand Madonna in her early years -- I'd guess that few teenage boys from working-class neighborhoods could -- but I've come to appreciate her artistry and versatility over time. Voted for "some of her stuff."

I wish they would finally release that damn tour on DVD. I mean, after 26 years surely the contract with Pioneer would have lapsed by now, especially since laserdisc is a dead format.

Have you ever seen Madonna live? I kind of want to, but I'm not sure because she's kind of old.

Madonna on her first tour 'The Virgin Tour' back in 1985, it's funny to see all those girls dressed up as her throughout the show. She was such a force of nature right out of the gate.

I saw her in January and you would never believe she was a 57 year old woman. She is still very energetic and youthful and commanding of a stage.

I had waited 30 years to see her, she never comes more than 5 hrs from here, but she actually came here this time (didn't hurt that they built a better arena here that gets better names than we used to get) and I finally got to see her after all these years in Jan. Totally worth seeing even at this age, she still has it and can put artists half her age to shame with the energy and force she gives live.

It was very controversial in it's day.

Sealed copies go for a lot of money now. I believe there was only one pressing of the book.

I bought it right when it was first released, but I actually let my ex keep it in the split. He was too young to buy it when it came out and he was the bigger Madonna fan of the two of us. (Cher has always been my #1)

My boyfriend's flat mate bought it and had it proudly on the coffee table for everyone to see. It certainly was a great conversation piece!

I can remember a girl bringing it into work to show us. She'd only had it a couple of weeks and it was already dropping to bits. Still remember that steel cover.:)

    Owned it since 1992!

Though I honestly only wanted it for the CD. Seeing Madonna naked didn't appeal to me a whole lot, but I wanted that alternate version of "Erotica"!

I like some of her stuff and love some of her 80s stuff. I rarely listen to her records, she's more an artist than musician.

I can think of many worse things to happen to music other than Madonna.

    Vanilla Ice
    Wierd Al Yankovic
    Justin Bieber
    MC Hammer

Just a few off the top of my head.

Got it when it was released-haven't looked at it in ages and I believe the covers have fallen off entirely. I don't know what it says about me, but when I looked through it all I could think is "what's the big deal?"!
