you heard it here first...
OK today is July 26th not April 1st.
I'm a former newspaper reporter; and cannot reveal my source.
Of course you are free to take it or leave it as need be...
2K12 = 200,012. They won't come out for another 198,000 years.
Uh Oh! No you didn't Krlpurtone!!! Now EVERYONE'S hopes are up. I hope there ain't gonna be a lynchin'...
Some guy on the Internet saying so isn't enough.
I'm afraid I heard it here last as well..
If you're only a former reporter, maybe you can give us the source's initials--or what it rhymes with...
The world doesnt end in 2012.
You heard it here first.
If I am wrong, sorry.
So I can finally stop cranking up my ancient LaserDisc machine. I actually think I have seen it enough at this stage. I might get the Blu-Ray if it is released on that format.
Are you sure? Nikh33 said Apple is not releasing anything new in the near future. No vinyl, deluxe albums or DVDs. I figured his word was "gospel".
Some dude with anonymous sources isn't enough to get me to believe something's coming out. The OP might have unimpeachable sources and he might be 100% correct - I'm not saying he's not right and he doesn't know anything.
But that doesn't mean I'll believe an uncredited source, either...
Magical Mystery Tour, I can believe.
Let It Be, I cannot.
Then wait for the big press release and announcement when that comes...
Just remember you heard it here first...
Any word on the possible vinyl reissues?
Not that I have heard...
This made me laugh until I realized it may be more accurate than a 2012 release date.
Why is it so important that we remember where we first heard it?
At the same time?
Hm, one can always hope. I don't care for the end of this world: just as long as LIB is issued during my lifetime and I am able to enjoy it fully - I am content!
I would also welcome a remastered Magical. It's my second favourite Beatles movie after LIB.
There's a difference between reporting something in a reputable publication and not revealing a source, and then just posting an anonymous announcement on a message board. Two different worlds. But we've had this discussion before. Just be prepared for several pages of flames doubting your accuracy, reputation, and sources. Because that's just how things go with unsubstantiated rumors on the internet.
OP, if it turns out to be true, I'll be happy to give you credit for being the first to mention it. If not, I'll troll you mercilessly.
I remember reading an article in entertainment weekly about 5 year ago or so,saying that let it be would be released on dvd that october, but it never was,I hope this time its true, but i really, really want this to be released on blu ray!
Twitter is the place that news breaks nowadays, and newspapers are the place to find old recycled content, typos and embarrassing grammar.
Personally, I certainly have no intrinsic reason to be posting frivolous rumors, nor I am not going to be profiting from it in any way; just thought people here at the SHF would be interested.
So, for the sake of those asking "a person familiar with the project confirmed"
I suspect because everyone here is giving him the gears. He wants everyone to eat crow when he is proven correct. I'm abstaining.
