Mary Tyler Moore hospitalized in grave condition: report »

This just popped up on Facebook, and is very sad news, if true. I remember when she was diagnosed with diabetes, and to be 80 years old living with this is impressive. Loved her in the Dick Van Dyke Show and of course The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Someone here posted an interview with Dick around 1-2 months ago and he said at that time Mary was VERY seriously ill, non verbal and non mobile. He didn't mince words, which was very shocking. After hearing what he said, I had no doubt she will pass this year. Horrible way to go.

EDIT: Based on Jerry's comment, she has already passed. Not unexpected. Godspeed, Mary.

I know she has been very ill for a long time, but it's sad to hear of her passing. The DVD and MTM shows were (mostly) before my time but she was so beautiful and perky.

What a brilliant comedian she was, and a great serious actor as well when she was given the opportunity.

Sad to think that the vibrant, colorized Laura (Mary), on CBS TV just a few weeks ago is gone.
