I got an almost immediate response to my email. It's a way of avoiding the forum being clogged with spam apparently.
They made a programme about Matt in their "Legends" strand about 8 ish years ago (the best rated of all in that strand) which was repeated about 15 times. Odeon Ent also made a doc so I don't think there is an hunger for another at the moment. Problem with Matt at the BBC is that there isn't an enormous amount - and we've released on DVD probably about 90% of that.
About to activate your membership now Norman. It's not difficult to register. You e-mail Michele (or me!) and we can sort it for you. We had to close standard registration as we were being bombarded by sometimes 100 requests to join from spammers/bots everyday. Don't know why we were targetted so much. Even now if i accidentally leave registration open I will find spam all over the forum the next day!

There are a couple of duplicate songs and a few short duets with guests but not very much. Most of what's left are guest performances, Johnnie Spence numbers and a few links.
Thanks Richard. I assume 'Pennies from Heaven' is the same as the one on 'Special Reserve'? Indeed, the songs from these programmes appear to be spread between Matt at the BBC, Born Free, Special Reserve and The Rare Monro/Matt UncoveredThe Rarities Collection. Do you have actual set lists? Might be nice to get them into order.
Yes to Pennies & Star Eyes on special reserve. Details are in the back of the book for that disc. You are correct except none appears on Matt at the BBC, which are all Star Show or Saturday Club. Exact show contents I will have somewhere although I think the order in the radio shows section of Special Reserve will be correct.

Many of those are on "Uncovered" or "Rarities" Mood for love (all episodes) do exist due to being issued on transcription discs. However it's awful. It has insipid Merrick Farren arrangements, all in the same style as the Ember single he also wrote & arranged. Along side plenty of awful Farren originals that should have been put down at birth. As you can imagine Michele is not all that happy about issuing those. especially as Matt and Farren didn't exactly see eye to eye when he sold some of Matt's demos to Ember.
