Sometimes the discussions here is way over the top-likethe statement that in 10-20 years Pauls voice will be permanently gone. Hardly surprising given that Paul will be 95 years old 20 years from now
Or the speculations why it take so long to deliver a new album. Paul himself just like many other songwriters state that songs just don t come as easy at an older age. Given the amount of songs Paul has written it really doesn take an Einstein to figure that out
As far as I am concerned Pau has given the world so many great songs that it s more than enough even if he never again release one single note.
As far as I'm concerned it s a miracle Paul still is able to release album as strong as New and if he manages that once again it s a bonus to one of the most rewarding legacies ever within popular music. Paul doesn't t owe anyone anything but somehow I think we at least owe him a minimum of respect perhaps even gratitude for his achievement. That s not the same as being a blind fanboy.
His voice is obviously declining-not particulary strange given his age. But he is still out there givin three hours shows that most rewiews and audiencereactions seems to wiew as great entertainment. That is outside the small circle of fans watching every You Tube clip .
Personally I truly enjoy some tracks were his age is not hidden like the-imo-wondrous Early days.

  8. He popped up recently, saying he's in a long distance relationship. Must be driving, rather than posting. The Hoffman Forums have been jilted for a deeper kind of love... :)

Well, it will be released "when the time is right". That's the only other BIG news we have about the album.

I know this is the new album and not the One On One thread, but I'll be at that gig and I'm already SO excited. Only 8 days to go...

A little more info about the new album:

McCartney’s next album should be unveiled mid-next year. As always, love is a central theme, while he has also penned a not-so-veiled dig at ****** ***** and climate change deniers.

I deleted the name for political content, but I'll give you one guess...

    Angela Davis???

I don't know. Trying to top John Lennon's song on Some Time In NYC album might not be the best idea. Maybe Paul should stick to singing about frogs or sheep or koala bears.... ;)

I hear more than one producer, several. Of course until album tracks are chosen, their contributions may or may not be shown in final product

Similar to "New" with several producers. He must have liked that approach.
