New Paul McCartney album "Egypt Station" coming September 7, 2018*

Paul, please help us...announce something please! I love these guys, but I can't take much more of this insane thread!

 

Has anyone heard Dhani's and Ringo's recent albums, and if so what did you think? I love them both.

Hmm. Dhani's album, I like the sounds, but many of the songs were basically the same. I've said here before, I actually kind of got startled a tad when I head him start singing in Admiral Of Upside Down, it seriously sounded like George. I may need to give the whole thing another listen.

Give More Love, eh. Maybe I should give it, too another listen. It's usual Ringo, if I recall. To me, The title track is very similar to Never Without You. (The chorus of Give More Love and the verses of Never Without You) I guess where he records/ writes the music in a jam band form, they occasionally find themselves doing a song twice. Not trying to be a hater. It was a nice little listen.

Julian made one with some good tunes in 2011, and there's a rumor going around Paul has a new one himself coming out in a couple of dec- I mean, uh, ye- months. Yeah, let's go with year-I mean months!

 

Haven't heard Dhani's, but I really dug the new Ringo album. It rocks, it has some great songs, and it all around sounds like he's having fun with the band and whatever guests artists are on there (including McCartney and Peter Frampton). It's also his highest energy album in a while. Good stuff!

What's nice about linking via Spotify is that folks can listen to the songs on the album even if they just have a free account, it's just in random order, but for many albums the order of the tracks doesn't always matter that much.

 

I wish we’d get some news soon. Something to hold us over..

I remember looking up the word "inclement" in the dictionary when "With A Little Luck" was released.

 

Good news! No White Album Anniversary 2018 then McCartney has the November slot as a release date.
Saying that I favour March 2019 a world live tour would follow.
