Talk of a double studio album , why not make it triple LPs...I'd buy it.

    Not "remakes". They are "re-do" 's ... ;)

OK. I'm breathlessly waiting and hoping for "re-do's" of "Mr. H. Atom " and "All You Horse Riders" then.

The only worrying thing is..how can he possibly improve these tracks ? :p

I know it's not 1971 anymore, but this is the man who used to be able to record and release a new album in a week. Not that we want another Wild Life - just saying.

About "We're On The Road Again"- it says Paul does backing vocals. Now, I don't know if Paul's voice can do the usual high-ish background vocals like on "Walk With You" anymore. Perhaps it's a duet of sorts? Probably not? It probably wouldn't be labeled as background vocals then, so it could be "Early Days"-style falsetto.

Personally I hope for a remake of Bip Bop and Mary had a little lamb. Biker like an icon would be awesome to.:agree:

Supposedly, it was/is some type of full-album-length rock concerto (all instrumental, I presume) with various musical parts and suites. It was said that Paul had Jeff Beck do some of the guitar work---but then it was also said that Paul thought that he (himself, that is, Paul) could do it better (???) and thus Paul was re-recording it. This has been rumored since the early 2000s, I think. So far, the concerto has fallen into a black hole.

The guitar concerto is for classical guitar and orchestra. Guitarist is Carlos Bonell, one of the best in the world. I interviewed him for my book Paul McCartney Recording Sessions. He said it's marvelous with some Spanish/flavored melodies all over. Rumors say it was finished a couple of years ago. We're still waiting though...

If he actually had three albums worth of material recorded and ready for release, I'm thinking two single lp releases a year apart. With the material on the third set aside for b-sides.

    That's a big IF.

A knowledgeable fan (who can identify himself here if he wishes to) posted this message on Paul's official message board about the possible release date of the new album:

"One of the crew said they think October".
