A fair amount of ping-ponging of shows between Antenna TV and MeTV. The Jeffersons, for example, was on Antenna for quite a while. There are only so many old TV shows that are rerun-worthy.

What a horrible tragedy.... They're going to be showing "My Three Sons -- The Dody Years" starting on May 28th. WHY OH WHY do we deserve this plague????!!!!!

I just wish Me TV was available on Direct TV

And, yes, I would watch the Dodie years.

As if Dody (is it spelled "Dody" or "Dodie"???) wasn't annoying enough, her real life brother was/is Leif Garrett.

I used to wake up every morning with anticipation and joy in the depths of my soul to watch Tim Considine and William Frawley in My Three Sons. Now, my soul is filled with utter desolation.... First Ernie.... then Katie..... and now, the living devastation of Dody/Dodie..... It's too bad though. Steve's wife Beverly Garland was absolutely wonderful in the series.....

When watching My Three Sons, they just showed a Leave It To Beaver commercial with Jerry Mathers in it.

Same reason we get freakin' hours of Matlock and Saved By the Bell every week: the GOOD stuff costs money, and the nets can't or won't fund them with mesothelioma commercials.:realmad:

We watched the entire run up to season 13. I don't think it was Dodie that killed the show but rather a lack of ideas. The last season was terrible but I am glad I got to see some of it (most of it we deleted). Still had the final episode on DVR and watched it over the weekend. Funny how a show about My Three Sons ends the series with only ONE son in the show, Ernie who wasn't even an original son.

Incidentally, it was cool to watch Uncle Charlie argue with Pooh Bear when I was browsing Twilight Zone on Netflix

I never realized when I was a kid how attractive Beverly Garland was.

Buck Rogers on Saturday nights! Cool! I actually have the DVD complete series but have only watched a handful of them. It wasn't as cool as I remember.

So it's official! All along after all the responsibilities of work and career as adults, what we've really just wanted to do with our lives is sit on the couch and watch TV. If so, I have found my people here. This place is better than Facebook.

Anyone getting HD quality in some of these reruns on MeTV? "Mannix" is just incredible looking especially in the 4x5 aspect ratio close-ups. It never looked that good on my folk's Magnavox cabinet TV back in the '70's. As a photographer I've eyeball calibrated my 32in. Samsung HDtv and everything looks so realistic.

My problem with MeTv is that my cable company doesn't broadcast it in HD. It's on one of the lower digital channels. Would love to see it in HD. I guess I could buy and antenna and see if that would work.

To be more specific technically I'm not getting full HD (1080i) either, more like DVD resolution, but it helps to have a small screen like 32inches (my 32" Samsung is 720p) and watch at a minimum distance of 7ft. The color on MeTV is not truncated like "Movies" channel which has people's shadow of their face totally gray while the lit portion has normal hue/saturation. Any beige or pastel colored walls in shadow go completely gray. I have basic limited through Spectrum formerly Time Warner Cable. Pay about $46/month.
