Whats the groups general consensus on the mfsl Floyds. I know Dark side is generally well regarded. What about Atom Heart Mother, Meddle and The Wall. Are they also considered to be good? Opionions?
Generally speaking, in the digital world, the UD1 is better than the UD2 (by varying degrees per album). AHM is only UD2. Vinyl is different - you get into the complex world of stamper numbers....
I've always been impressed with The Wall. I'm not even going to explore the newer remaster since I doubt it beats the MFSL version.
Like Gary says Keim, make sure you get the Ultradisc (Japan) as opposed to the UltradiscII (USA) version for Dark Side Of The Moon and Meddle especially Dark Side. No worries about The Wall as it only was ever made an Ultradisc. No other CD version of these even comes close IMHO.
