    If this quote is true:

    "The CD layer of all SACD's also are an improvement to standard CD technology. They sound excellent partly due to the down conversion process and partly because the replication process of hybrids is more stringent.”

    It's a good argument for Hybrid SACD's (as long as they aren't made by Crest).

    Agreed. By the way, is there a list out there of problematic Crest SACD's?
