Michael Bay to Produce Live-Action 'Dora the Explorer' Movie

You know, a few years ago College Humor put out this fake parody Dora The Explorer movie trailer, and I thought it was kind of awesome...

Now I guess we'll get to see it as an actual movie. I actually think this could sort of work.

Are we on drugs? We have to be on drugs. Neither David Lynch at his best nor Tommy Wisaeu at his worst could come up with anything this bizarre.

It has to be better than The Last Airbender movie.

    My prediction:
    Megan Fox as Dora
    Boots as a racist stereotype
That blue bull for toilet humor
    Swiper as a bomber

Because a lot of entertainment aimed at adults is terrible, boring, and unimaginative crap aimed at the lowest-common denominator.

The beauty of this idea is that the show is so simplistic that they can pretty much do whatever they want to do to make a movie around the characters and concept.

Then you weed through that, and find the quality adult films, and series. Creepy, odd, and sad, if I had witnessed my father, or grandfather acting like a 12 year-old.

I think a lot of adult movies are pretty creepy and weird. I watch what I want to, as always.

I have to wonder how many of these adults would have a hard time explaining their DVD collection, or what's on their hard drive, should law enforcement ever have a reason to investigate them ? Seriously.
Anyway, there are all kinds out there, to each his own.

Why would the police care about someone's DVD collection? That's like saying the cops might think you're a terrorist because you own the Die Hard movies.

They come into your home, and go through your things. What looks like "bait" to them is just a grown man's taste in entertainment ? Good luck with that.

Uh, what? Okay, I think someone's been watching too many badly-scripted cop movies!

I agree that it's really weird for adults to go see a Dora The Explorer movie-even if she's a teenager, as it says she will be. Like, why on earth would you want to see that?

Because the kids who grew up watching the TV show are now in their late teens or even early 20's by this point and have a fondness for the TV show just like anyone does with a show they grew up watching and enjoyed.

Of course, ask the Jem fans how well that movie adaptation worked out for them. :)

What's next, Peppa Pig directed by Adam Sandler?
