Nice to see he is putting a band together for it, not going out solo

    Great news!

I missed The Monkees shows he did, but this time I will be sure to attend if he comes to NYC.

  5. I honestly couldn't make sense of whether or not it's a solo tour, or if there is a band...
he says "solo concerts", but also says "I'm putting the players together now, about fifteen dates in all,..."...are the "players" the cities & venues, or players in his band? Unintentionally cryptic Nesmith....
Either way, I'll be there with bells on!!

He was great in NYC last month (with The Monkees) and I hope I get to see Nez solo.

Bump. Nez is announcing the dates/venues and hopefully on-sale dates on his facebook page tomorrow.

    Count me in as well.

Doe anyone know the venue in Boulder?

  11. Here's the rest of the facebook post (full band, venues, tickets, etc. coming very soon):

"Here is the The Spring Tour Me, Joe Chemay on Bass, Paul Leim on Drums, Boh Cooper on Keys
I'll post the venues and ticket outlets later today or tomorrow.
This is the tour to break in the show, see if you like it, earn the promoters confidence, and see if anybody comes.
If it goes well we will keep going later in the summer/fall and hit the states we missed on this half-lap of the US.
If it goes poorly we will stare blankly into the future and post pictures of cute animals and food."

Personally I'm betting it goes well enough that I might see him somewhere closer, but I don't know if I'm willing to bet on missing the tour just in case...so I'm considering Rahway, NJ (easiest as it's on a Friday), but Philly, NYC, Munhall & Northampton are all in the running- each roughly 4 & 1/2 to 5 hours drives.
I'll only be seeing one show on this leg, if I go to this leg at all. I'm still hoping for Toronto, Buffalo, Rochester, Cleveland, etc.- somewhere just a little closer. & might be willing to wait for those. If tickets are cheap enough, then I'll shoot for this leg, & it wouldn't be a financial strain to see him again a second time, if it was somewhere really close by.

Ticketmaster lists Town hall as the New York venue.

  13. Well this gives us some rough parameters. The Town Hall is a venue that holds 1,500 & the ticket prices are running from a low of US $40.00 Ticket + US $10.25 Fees = US $50.25, up to a high of US $100.00 Ticket + US $13.85 Fees = US $113.85.
I'm guessing that it could be slightly smaller venues in the smaller cities, & maybe (hopefully) slightly lower prices.
I'm gonna have to be going for the less expensive seats because of the expenses for the 4-5 hour drive (one way...8-10 round trip.)

Nice to see that Joe is still with Nez, but I really was hoping for John Hobbs on "The Mighty 88"!

Monkees.net has a "low quality" acoustic show on their site.

Hopefully it will be a success for those who live in other states.

I remember John Ware was initially suggested on drums, without him knowing--it would have been cool to have him there. However, Paul Leim played on Live at the Palais and Infinite Rider on the Big Dogma, and has quite a resume of his own. (And even backs up Ronnie Tutt in the Elvis TCB band)

It's also nice to see Joe Chemay still playing with him.

I'm thrilled that Nez is coming to MA, a very driveable distance for me. I'll be in Vegas on the day of the Northampton show (I'm assuming this will be the Iron Horse, which is a great venue and generally has really affordable tickets), but will be back the night before the Boston date, so I'm hoping that venue is a good one and the tix don't scoot too quickly.

Just checked Ticketmaster and they don't have any Nesmith tickets or dates listed New York City or the other dates on the tour yet.

It was there and has since been removed. TM is blocked at my work so I checked on the app which is why I never bothered to post the link.
