I was watching the official promo for "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" and watched Taylor do backup vocals as well as guitar with no KR vocals apparent. How many RS tunes did Taylor actually sing any vocals between 1969 and 1974?

    Cheers

I don't know if he sang on Ain't Too Proud or not, but I wouldn't take someone singing or not singing in a promo video as sure evidence of who sings on the cut.

For example Eddie Jobson is on the Owner of a Lonely Heart video (as he briefly joined the band around the time of the video) but was never on any recording at all by Yes (or live show).

OK, it took some time to get back to this, but MT does backing vocals on:

    Can You Hear the Music

    Coming Down Again

    Dancing with Mr. D

Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)

    Hide Your Love

    It's Only Rock and Roll

    Short and Curlies

    Silver Train

    Till the Next Goodbye

    Time waits for No One

Two different sources (perhaps wrong, of course) indicate such additional duties for him, the discography by Alan Clayson, and the labor of love continuing online databse by Alex Aeppeli .

    Cheers

    It depends.

If Mick (Jagger) and Keith would have to pay him royalties for singing background vocals, then they'd say he didn't do any. :realmad:

    Taylor sings on those songs?

Can anyone identify his voice (e.g. "that's him on Hide Your Love, 1:34-1:41...."), so I can get some idea where to listen out for him?
