Mike Smith's Rock Engine - 2nd US Tour - Dave Clark Five

Thanks to Koz for posting his question about the DC5. I went looking for info and found that Mike Smith is making a 2nd US tour.

On his 1st US tour, he did make a stop, IIRC, close enough for me to have gone, but didn't find out about it until after he'd left(typical ).

But I heard from a friend he and the band put on a great show. I've heard the same about Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits(believe it or not!). He still does the old HH hits, some newer stuff, but is a great sport and has a great rapport with his audiences. I love hearing stories like that. Whatever level of talent these guys possess, their love of the music was and remains undeniable, and you could hear that in the grooves, too.

Did you guys catch him on David Letterman's show? Unfortunately, I missed it. I herd it was a great show, I guess he actually filled in for Paul (spelling?) Shaffer.
