YES, that's a good one (I'm not a Sinatra fan, but I'm a Basie fan!) BUT. . . not an SHM-SACD.

 

I did just that....the Allman debut, Skynyrd, and Los Lobos (Kiko).

I was thrilled to get a couple of the Dylan SACDs (New Morning and Times They Are a Changin') at $14.99, less a bit more with a code they had going. I'm starting to buy from Music Direct all the SACDs that I gave up on ImportCDs ever getting in.

(My order for the 2 Jefferson Airplane SACDs + Son House SACD just shipped, though at full price less 20% on Cyber Monday.)

I found that if I phone in my order I can get Media Mail to Canada at $10 for three SACDs. For some reason they shipped FedEx Priority at the same price.

 

I didn't know you could do Media Mail internationally. . . that may be why they went Priority.

 

My last order from them came Media Mail. Less than half the price of their cheapest on-line shipping option. A lot of US sellers won't use it because there's no tracking, I guess.

 

Interesting. Next time I ship to Canada I'll try sending Media Mail, it was never offered as an option and I guess I never asked. Thanks.

 

The SHM-SACD sale has a number of very cheap offerings. I've never seen those Lennon SACDs that cheap before.

 

Y'all quit it with the "sale" postings, lol. Yer killing me with these great sales yet, strangely, I keep coming back. I picked up 4 here (Gram, The Pretenders, The Dead and Kiko). Where really hurt were seeing the titles for $14.99 that I had paid $29.99 for this year and last

 

It's going to get very quiet...on December 26th.

 

If you take advantage of their sales the discs should never cost $29.99; that is the one advantage of pre-ordering assuming you can handle the extended wait times. I also take into account that I have owned and enjoyed these sale items for a long time. So no regrets here.

 

I'm now $489 poorer but 27 discs richer...

 

Anyone bought cds from the uk ?Usually the shipping costs kill the savings , any idea cost.

DLD, I see you are in Dallas. Are you saying that you paid a little over $4 for shipment of four discs from Music Direct to Dallas?

I take it that swintonlion lives in the U.K. and is asking about shipping from Music Direct to the U.K.

Man, I messed that answer up as bad as can be The Music Direct CDs had free shipping (>$49), domestic to Dallas.

My order from Amazon UK was for the Stones' Totally Stripped BRD and CD set, 4 BRDs and 1 CD with 3 pounds for shipping.
