I don't have one album on that list. And somehow don't feel like I'm really missing anything.

Right. It didn't even make their top 50. Looks like a Mojo swing and a miss.

Make that the last 2,5 years of every year. At least they got ATCQ in, released early November... 2016.

Tribe was last year, no? Perhaps not in Britain. I quite like that one. I'd be curious to hear the Pete Perrett. Jane Weaver I should like in theory but something stops me unabashedly loving (too reverential of influences?); having said that, I've only heard the Silver Globe, not the latest. Kurt V and Courtney B I saw live and found rather dull.

That may be the most boring Mojo top 10 ever.

At least Sleaford Mods have some life to them.

Hard to believe the new LCD Soundsystem record would be number one in any year.

Don't despair, your prognosis is much better than "The music finished in 88" crowd.

Both Jesus and Mary Chain and Slowdive had amazing albums this year.

This list is made by people who are paid by the labels.

Also, LCD Soundsystem, I don’t get it. It’s mediocre at best. Many bands I don’t like that are huge and I get it. LCD is so generic that the mediocrity must be the draw.

The Wire album is excellent but I expect nothing less. Also Kamasi Washington deserves all the hype her gets. As does Thundercat.

Silly ol' Mojo is gonna have to redo this list once the U2 and Neil Young albums are released on 12/1.

I've heard a grand total of one album on that list, the LCD Soundsystem. I love it, so I voted for it. But I've only even heard of six of the artists in that top 25, geez!

I was delighted that it was such a success for them. Easily in their top five albums, going all the way back to the Halfnelson. Great stuff.

A tough call for me between St.Vincent and Kendrick Lamar. In the end I went with St.Vincent but honestly, choosing between the two was almost impossible.

From the top 25, I went for Resistance; at least it's got a bit of 'oomph'.

Not sure what Jesca Hoop has to do to get on one of these lists....anyway after the Bowie Boxset debacle I'm not sure these mags actually listen to things before they review them.

I really struggled with it. Seemed to lack the beauty of the first two.

Wow what a different list that I would have compiled. Literally purchased zero of the albums on this list and I still buy new releases for my collection.

This list should be titled top 25 albums for people that only drink IPAs and have man buns

  25. So I'd choose Dylan's Triplicate , Mart Stuart's Way Out West and Moses Sumny ... not on the list.
