Question: With 23 songs in a 90 minute show, was there much interaction/conversation between Micky and Peter between the songs or was it pretty much song after song with no banter/chat between the two of them?

Due to the fact chances of seeing them live are dwindling down because of age I would think at least the hardcore Monkees fans would jump on this. The last time I saw Davy Jones solo act live he ended up dying a year and a half later. Never expected that one. Peter Noone was on the same bill and made a joke about Davy having a heart attack with that young wife of his in bed. Got a lot of laughs because he was only 62 at the time and we're all thinking he's got years left. Davy did Micky's hits live just like Micky does some of Davy's hits. Always a fun show.

  3. This is a strange point of view but I think/hope Nez is just fine and is just being stubborn. I have no proof one way or another except that I would guess Tork wouldn't be so annoyed with Nez if he was sitting out for health reasons. Nez just seems to be Nezzing out. No rhyme or reason with that fella (at least not that we can understand.) I'm sticking with the notion that he either just doesn't want to do it or that he couldn't get his way so he's staying home. I'm sure he'll give some sort of press release on the matter soon. I also say he'll cameo in a CA show or two.

There was much banter between songs. Guess that happens with short songs. I'm glad video of that show is starting to surface. The crowd had a great time.

I'm just happy that I saw Davy sing "Someday Man." I screamed for him to do that on a solo tour in some deep Missouri town before the Monkees went out again and yelled a few times for him to do that song. I recall him looking at me. I'm kind of hoping maybe it was me that brought him to do that song with The Monkees on his last tour with them. I never would have thought 10 years ago I would have seen these guys half a dozen times in the past decade (especially with Mike). I can die somewhat peacefully. Just waiting on "Auntie's Municipal Court."

Here's hoping there's some international dates in the wind. Australia has missed out for too long!

Looking at what they have posted for concert dates, it looks like US dates only...

Maybe the guys aren't into the idea of international traveling, or maybe the concert promoters think the US is the only place that would do well sales-wise or it could be any of a thousand different reasons... All that said, I would think some shows in Australia would go over well: The Monkees were a hot commodity over there even when their popularity was starting to decline in the US, and the Jones/Tork shows of the mid-80s seemed to have been well received too... But, things may have changed since then, who knows?

I am thinking that, just like in the past, it will be a Deluxe edition. This time MOTM.

Well that'd just be the icing on the cake. And a cherry as well. I'd be more than thrilled.

I got a cheap balcony seat for Town Hall.

I have the Live Nation app on my phone. One of the presales was through it with no password needed.
