Ooh interesting indeed. The first album is prime 70s hard rock. From the unofficial recordings I've heard, these guys kicked some serious butt live, so both are definitely welcome released! I'm in!

 

I've only recently gotten into these guys and have these two albums on LP. I'd be in for these, depending on price. Thanks for sharing!

 

great debut.... but I doubt it will be better than the original or Audio Fidelity.

 

Every Montrose album had something to offer the rock fan. What a great band and will deffo be picking these up (again)

Always liked the KSAN "Jive 95" live broadcasts too!!

For Marley "Talkin Blues" fans, some tracks were from the same KSAN programing.

Ya, I recorded many of these live (in studio) shows as they were being broadcast on KSAN. Still have a few too!

 

Nice. I've had those radio broadcasts for years.

 

The 1st album is a definite day one buy for the bonus cd alone. The best thing Hagar's even been involved with. Hopefully the mastering will be tastefully done for the original album.

 

Great news on the Montrose. FANTASTIC news that ICE still exists online! I didn't know that!

Fave was the "Sex Pistols" [Winterland]; had my younger siblings start the reel to reel while i was at the show. For that one the DJ's had a dissertation before bout the band; cause they & their general audience weren't ready for the 'Pistols'!
Got a few wax boots, Zary infamous bootlegger did one on "Dragonfly", & one ceedee from the FM source.

I actually think Paper Money is just as good as the first album. They should have started the album with "I Got The Fire" though. The only thing I don't really care for is the song Ronnie sings (We're Going Home), but I'm just so used to hearing it, it would be weird without it.

I never could used to Bob James as a replacement...so WB Presents and Jump On It are both a big step down for me.

 

Other than I Got The Fire, I never cared much for Paper Money.

 

I love the first album ! I have an original Japanese press with RMs auto and a US white label promo. 2 of my prized vinyl possessions.
Once pressing plant and mastering have been confirmed I will be pulling the trigger.
