MoFi did Big Pink on LP and CD, the masters for the second album aren't available, and DCC already did Stage Fright.

So how about Moondog Matinee or Northern Lights - Southern Cross? There are some magical moments on each of those records ...

It would be nice to get a remaster of Rick Danko's eponymous solo album as well. I was thinking of this while watching the "Sip the Wine" scene in "The Last Waltz". I don't think its even available domestically in the US right now.

    Regards,

    Danko

Agreed ... Danko's first solo LP is long overdue for some respectful treatment. My favorite track: JAVA BLUES! (coffee, coffee, coffee ...)

I was lucky to find a still-sealed Arista LP a few years back ...

Ah, yes, Java Blues. Fun tune.

Anyone score a copy of the live set, Richard Manuel: Whispering Pines? Can't find it, wasn't it due for release this week?
