Grant Heights - surprised to see that here. I lived at Tachikawa in the 60's and 70's.

This is an odd one. It’s a signed Yoko Ono piece called “a hole to see the world through” dated 1992. The date tells me that it was a promo for her Onobox collection that came out on Rykodisc that year. It’s numbered 26/400, so there should be a lot of them out there, but I’ve never seen another one. Maybe there’s just no interest.

One of my favorite pieces of memorabilia - the ticket to the reception for Linda McCartney’s Pictures at a gallery in Hollywood. Met Paul and Linda.

Very nice Doc. Have the book... but not the experience. Good for you!
Closest I ever got was Paul playing a solo acoustic soundcheck about 15 ft. away,
then we all got picks .. and a first row a couple hours later.

On the Yoko see through card... I know of something a bit similar that John & Yoko had
sent to Zappa in 1971. I do not own it, but have seen it.

I thought that maybe the Arthur Baker Mix of No More Lonely Nights was harder to find? I have this promo...but I still can't nail down the Arthur Baker Mix. Learn something new every day.

If I can find my scans of the original transparencies used in the Mull Of Kintyre/Girls School single I will post them.

BTW, the Wings logos are nor on the acetate or audiodiscs sleeve...just trying to protect my scans/pictures :) Blurred spot is also a telephone number and name.

Ran out of time writing the description... so here goes:

    The Beatles "1967 - 1970" Apple Stamper.
U.S. Apple Records 12'' one-sided ''metal stamper'' (side one) of the 2 x "Blue LP" set.
Similar type discs are sometimes seen on eBay, authenticity is dubious at best..
This is a vintage 1973 well used Apple stamper from the Jacksonville, IL. factory.
The stamper has the correct info pressed in the run out area "Mastered By Capitol"
and the matrix number "SKBO - 1 - 3403 G30". Center hole is normal, cover as received.
    c., 1973.

    John Lennon - "Serve Yourself"
    U.S. Atlantic Studios 7'' one-sided acetate.
Extremely rare acetate from 1980, labeled as mono rough cut.
John was not particularly happy with Dylan's new found spiritual faith..
He laid down this scathing attack, based on Dylan's hit "Serve Somebody".
This song remained unheard until the Lennon box set in 1998. It was never
released as a single or promotional release. The label states the running time
as 4:50, the actual time is 3:50 matching the released version eighteen years later.
Possibly a one of a kind lacquer.
    c., 1980.
