The Beatles - Y &T Mono removed cover slick .. after a steam job
mono cover photo to be shot sometime soon...
This is the "more-signed-photos-lps-pss-promos-memorabilia-empherea-etc" thread not the "promo-label-vinyl-pics-show-them-off." Just sayin'...
C'MON PEOPLE !! Help me out here...
I'm comin' - a little later.
exactly Marc ... that's what they are LP's
My point was that they're promos...oh never mind!
Yikes! ... So, now there is a "brand new" SPLHCB LP release coming out next month.
Time for my 19th nervous breakdown copy I guess
Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys - "Man Of Constant Sorrow"
Dr. Ralph Stanley signed CD cover.
I've got nothing much to show but I'll have a little dig. I'm happy just to enjoy your collection though, it's a treat to see such nice images of rare stuff (Beatles particularly) along with the history. Keep it up!
Joey Molland / Badfinger signed 8 x 10 Promotional Photo
Ft Lauderdale, FL. .. c., 1994.
Giles, Giles And Fripp - "The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles And Fripp"
U.S. Deram Records 12" Promotional LP.
Pre - KING CRIMSON ... on the road to the mighty Crimson.
I'm not sure if this is gonna work, but here are some promo buttons from the early 80's (except for the Kinks, which is from the 60's - and all of my pre-80s buttons were stolen during a burglary in which I lost my stereo, jewelry, a lot of records, etc. But why they took the buttons has always puzzled me). You may not be able to make them out, but I tried...
The Beatles - "Meet The Beatles"
U.S. Capitol Records 12" legendary LP.
Signed by groundbreaking Beatles photographer Robert Freeman.
c., 1963 .. signed 2004.
Does one of the STIFF ones say 'ain't worth a seminar?', what's that all about?
Otherwise my faves are the original STIFF uncensored one, the Rutles 'trousers' one and that Clash Sherrif's badge. Any 'Tubes' memorabilia knocking about? They're my pet band.
The Beatles - "Rubber Soul"
U.S. Capitol Records 12" Mono LP.
Signed by cover photographer Robert Freeman.
The stretched photo print classic shot.
c., 1965 .. signed 2004.
George Harrison - "Here Comes The Sun" lithograph
Genesis Publications Ltd. U.K. signed, and numbered George Harrison
and artist Keith West art print. This was released with two other song
prints for the release of the book "Songs By George Harrison". This is
the finest print of the three .. numbered 351 of 850.
The "seminar' one was about the New Music Seminar, which was a big record/radio confab in NYC which ran from 1979 or 1980 thru 1995 and was relaunched in 2009 and ran for a few years. Stiff loved buttons and used any excuse to make some. The original "If It Ain't..." slogan was put on anything, t-shirts, posters, all kindsa stuff. Somewhere I have the "tube" that graced the cover of "The Completion Backward Principle." If I find it I'll post if for you. I have a bunch more buttons but I can't remember what band or label they represent, but I really really miss the ones I don't have anymore!
Do we know of any others?
