The number ST-8-2047 .. the "8" is added to the record number on Record Club releases.
The three hash tags stripes at the top left also designate this as a Club release.
Gold Record Award stamp .. original sw .. Stereo.

The Beatles - "Meet The Beatles"
U.S. Capitol Records 12" original LP.
One of the rarest examples known to exist in this condition. An apex item in my collection.
This is one of the very first U.S. known copies issued .. with a laminated cover.
The story is well documented in Bruce Spizer's superb book.. "The Beatles on Capitol Records".
The first couple 100,000 copies were printed with a semi- laminated cover, seam and reverse.
This very obvious laminate sheen compared to all other original examples .. I tried to get a fair picture of this NM cover example. Though it remains very difficult to see... It is the only one I
have ever seen in 43 + years of collecting. The laminate is absolutely obvious, though not as distinct as say the U.K.copies. This was halted very quickly... the possibility of a NM example is near impossible. With full provenance.

You can see the the front cover pic doesn't go as far down as other copies and the bottom is not cut straight.

 

A 1961 Warner Bros promo record with the original members of the Glenn Miller Band with a label sticker for a concert at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium with the band members Tex Beneke, Ray Eberle, The Modernaires with Paula Kelly, ticket prices date and time. Hand written in red marker "In person Fri Nite Sept 29th Fairmont 8:30 PM. Al. Collins -Emcee"

Springsteen annotated lyrics for Shut Out The Light.

 

Springsteen autograph I got on a scrap of paper before the 4h+ Helsinki concert.

 

I got Roy's and Max's autographs, unfortunately Max's pen was running out of ink. Bruce also held that album cover and tried to sign it, but someone stuck something inbetween, and that got signed instead!
