Bob Dylan - 50th Anniversary Collection 1964
E.U. Sony/ Legacy 12" 9 X LP box set .. Rare limited edition release.
The box set is referred to as the "copyright extension" set protecting the music
from falling into the public domain. As the '63 box, these were only available in
a handful of countries in Europe and rhard to find. No artwork to speak of, just a
simple white box, white individual LP covers with the same stamped information
right corner. There were no booklets whatsoever, song title sheet info on reverse
side, plain generic white labels. Only 1000 copies were produced.

David Hentschel - "Startling Music" Promo LP
U.S. Ring'O Records 12" designate promotional album.
David plays his adventurous interpretation of the "Ringo"
album with a little help from Phil Collins, Ronnie Carlyle,
and even Ringo (snapping his fingers!?). This LP was the only
vinyl album released in the U.S. .. this was a short lived venture
for Ringo. Just two 45 singles were released here, one was posted
earlier in this thread.

special edition release. Includes 180 gm vinyl, bonus white vinyl
12" special EP, poster, and postcards.

"The Concert For Bangla Desh" - Original Signed Booklet
U.S. Apple Records George Harrison Bangla Desh LP box set booklet
signed by Billy Preston, and Leon Russell. Measures 10 3/4" x 11 1/2"
63 page original booklet. Leon was kind enough to once again sign upside
down, as he did on a disc.

Bob Dylan - "Saved" LP Cover Art
U.S. Columbia Records 12" LP.
The original 1980 front cover slick was a pastel drawing done
by the artist Tony Wright. The LP cover is in the shrink wrap w/
hype sticker .. It borrows from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel
ceiling masterpiece with the hands of God reaching out to mankind.
In 1985, the cover art was changed, and replaced by a different pastel
that had previously been on the inner sleeve. The second LP cover with
hype sticker is a sealed example.

Bob Dylan - "Saved" LP Cover Art : CORRECTION
A photographic anomaly occurred above on the first photo... in my rush to get the photos taken, posted and script written, I failed to see the line across the picture at the top .. here is a proper look at the same photograph without the line error. Personally, I always preferred this first original cover of the hand of God reaching down to mankind ... Lately, the past few years Dylan has returned back to the original cover art work for the album.

Dark Horse Records - Vintage Hanging Mobile / Poster Display Kit
U.S. Dark Horse Records 1975 3-D promotional in-store hanging mobile display.
Includes promo poster, sticker, rocker card, assembly instruction sheet.
The early vintage display featured LP's by Splinter, Henry McCullough, and Jiva.
George Harrison had started his Dark Horse Records label in 1974, and often produced the bands, or had a hands on attitude of help and encouragement. Splinter was the first band signed, and he would team up with Ravi Shankar and produce some wonderful LPs on the label.

The hanging mobile was a rather odd phallic looking thing...
strange to the point that I recall the record store I worked at the time, the manager decided to pull it down after more than a few comments, and customers whispering and joking.

"NATIONAL Record News" - Capitol Records Promo Newspaper 1964
Original early 1964 Capitol promotional "Special BEATLES Issue".
One of the true Beatlemania Capitol PR campaign advertisements that Capitol
made available to appear as a record industry newspaper .. In their rush to get
these out, they got the names incorrect and mixed up under the photos on the
inner pages. Authentic, vintage example.

Rev. Martin Luther King - "We Shall Overcome!" LP
U.S. Council For United Civil Rights Leadership 12'' album.
The March On Washington .. August 28th, 1963.
This original LP includes the full Dr King speech, the music,
and the guest speakers in order as it happened. The great civil
rights orator is supported by musicians Odetta, Bob Dylan,
Joan Baez, and Peter, Paul & Mary.

Doing Sahm - "Doug Sahm And Band"
U.S. Atlantic Records 12" sw LP
Guest Bob Dylan helps out on the album .. Bob is characterized on the front cover
with the band to Doug's right. Also he is on the reverse photograph half hiding out.
Really an enjoyable album..

Hamburg , GE 1961 .. from the first session by Albert Marrion.
He took many of the great early photos of The Beatles, he said
he would have taken more at these sessions if Lennon and McCartney
would have stopped the constant goofing off.
