''The BEATLES'' white albums that came out in the Apple 2009 black Stereo, and white Mono box sets are also part of the white album collection.

Waiting on a U.K. original mono top loader to reveal itself in it's time..
I've waited fifty years for one, no use in rushing now.

Soon, we will be getting The BEATLES 5oth Anniversary Box Set!
Let's hope they are doing a super job choosing rare unheard material, outtakes, demos, alternate versions... a big chance to do something right.

Bob Dylan - "Blonde On Blonde'' U.K. LP
    U.K. CBS Records 2 x 12'' rare original U.K. issue.
Has the original Claudia Cardinale 9 photo gatefold ..
RARE promo song sticker on cover, also has the ''featuring I Want You" and
Rainy Day Women Not. 12 & 35" print on front cover .. original price sticker.
Mono cover .. Stunning example of promo song sticker.

I am very interested to see this new purchase when it arrives. The cover is rare and a beauty, searchingforagem states the sticker is promotional, and only has one damaged photo of one.
This Mono cover, however does not have the inside gatefold flaps.. so this has me confused.
The records are not mint, but it's the original mono cover with super clean rare sticker that caught my attention.

Oh, what's another "Blonde On Blonde" hurt at this point...

Bob Dylan - "Shot Of Love" RARE Spain Only LP Cover
Spain CBS Records .. 12" LP with rare original withdrawn reverse cover slick.
The art department made changes to the back cover from the original test slicks.
The only country in the world that printed the original cancelled 1981 album cover for release was Spain. And... this was in error. Only the original '81 first release had the withdrawn cover.

I had been wanting an example of this Dylan anomaly in the collection for sometime, and have found what looks like a VG++ cover at a decent price. I really liked the photo of Bob contemplating a rose, but I also liked the withdrawn graphic. This issue has a promotional stamp on the front cover, but a regular vinyl release.
    c., 1981.

Note the promotional stamp on the right side of trunk.. the top photo is very clear, after close inspection I am fairly sure my seller in Spain just needs to take clearer photos.

John Lennon bought this new Gibson J-160E in 1967, he took it to India and played and wrote many songs on this guitar. It was used during the writing of most all of ''The BEATLES'' white album, and afterwords. By Christmas 1968, he decided he wanted to gift the guitar to friend Bob Dylan. Dylan used the guitar often in 1969 through the 1970's.
A few years after Lennon was killed in 1980, it is said Dylan became 'superstitious', and gave the guitar to his musician guitar tech the late Cesar Diaz.
    c., 1967/68.

John and George had loved, and used the J-160E for many years.
George had switched from the Gibson J-160E after Sgt Pepper, he was now playing the
Gibson J-200. He used it on ''Here Comes The Sun'' .. Eventually, George gifted this guitar to his close pal Bob Dylan. Dylan played it extensively, and is pictured with it on the cover of Nashville Skyline. Dylan gets all the Beatles guitars... amazing!!

This morning I was amazed to receive an email from FH Customer Support
about my damaged "Concert For George'' deluxe box cover. I documented my terrible experience earlier in the thread, how my box was badly dented and damaged, and how others have been shorted, and ripped of their test pressings. Anyway, after a month of my continued emails, and demanding a $ credit commensurate with the damages, after being told there are no available replacements for 'minor damages'. It seems they have decided in my favor.

They said that a replacement box was sent out Friday via Fedex. It had a tracking link , and it's due tomorrow! I'm cautiously optimistic that this may all work out.. Between this month long fiasco of battering emails, then the unsigned book thing, I was starting to wonder. The book worked out better than ever, and just maybe the George box will be mint. We'll see...

God's grace abounds in all things.

I mistakenly said the rare reverse cover slick of Shot Of Love that got out was from Spain... It was released in Brazil.

This afternoon I took a look at my Beatles U.S. picture sleeve binder. I like to pull it out a couple times a year an admire them. These are nearly all NM beautiful sleeves. I've been collecting them seriously since the early 1970's. There are still about five that I do not have, you know the ones maybe. I know I will never have them ever, I won't spend the money. Anyway, I chose a few classics to spotlight .. Hope you enjoy, and don't worry I'm not going to start posting my Beatles / Solo PS collection...

VJ-587 Beatles sleeve .. Nice NM- example of the classic portraits set against a jet black sleeve. These are the hardest PS's to find in beautiful condition, they develop and show ring wear almost immediately. This particular sleeve caught my attention in 1975, and I had to have it.. it was so unique and different with the braille attachment.

When I was looking at The Beatles picture sleeve collection today, the binder had a pocket where I found some old picture sleeves. A bit of a surprise to me, thought I had sold them. These are not mint.. there is some ring wear, ink on one.. and a couple nice VG++. I could sell these, but if someone is starting out, or needs a filler (like I did), or just wants an original Capitol Beatles PS..
Let me know ? *** FREE! *** I'll make a decision, and get it out to ya. Enjoy! :bdance:

I'm happy to note that Alan Fraser, curator of the most excellent www.searchingforagem.com has chosen to highlight my Bob Dylan
U.K. Mono "Blonde On Blonde" LP with the rare promo song sticker
prominently at the top of his web site, and facebook page.
    Very cool .. Thanks Alan!

See that... even guitar greats Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page get very excited, and have their guitars and photos signed by the legendary Les Paul .. Page also gets his shirt signed.
When it comes right down to it, everyone can be touched by greatness that can effect their lives immeasurably. Collect on friends!

Y E S !! Fedex has just delivered my replacement "Concert For George" deluxe box... and, it's perfect. Finally! I am so grateful, I fought hard to get this replacement for my badly damaged and dented front cover. Olivia and Dhani absolutely need to tighten up what is clearly poor customer service issues.
    Thank you Lord
