As promised here is the companion thread to the just completed Round 1. 700 songs were included, but inevitably not everything could be included. Please feel free to post your favorite tracks not included in the polls.

Also I am including a poll to pick the next two years we will explore. Next we will do one year from the 80s/90s and then one year from the 60s/70s. You can select two years from each group.

Please note that the poll question should be "years" not "ears". Cannot edit, sorry.

Sixties: 1964/5. Eighties: 1982/6, although any two of them would be alright. I found a lot of good songs in 1987 through reading Melody Maker and the NME.

Meanwhile a notable great song from 1967 (which I posted once in another '67 thread) is Home From the Forest by Ronnie Hawkins:

Gave one vote to all of the 60's options. I'm hoping for a 1965 based poll. As songs from 1967 that didn't make it, I can't remember which ones that I enjoy did not make it. Did On A Quiet Night by the Association make it? I'm sure Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye by the Casinos and Nobody But Me by the Human Beinz made it too.

They should get the Shaggs to give them some lessons.

Actually, if that's off Back From the Grave, I've got it at home.
