I lucked out and picked up a copy of Five Summer Stories over the weekend. It's the soundtrack to a classic early 70's surf movie. If you like Steve's surf CDs (Surf Legends, Surf Classics) then I highly recommend this one. Its kind of like the last evolution of the genre found on the DCC surf discs.

    I recommend Duane Eddy--The Twang's the thang

BTW, isn't that a little black *book* you keep your rhymes in? Not a boot?

GNP Crescendo--it's not the wa wa stuff. There's a couple of dorky vocal tracks but the instrumentals are great. We're talkin' guitars here, with a bit of organ and some slide thrown in for good measure. I'd say there are a couple of tracks that are exceptional. I think someone had special ordered it and failed to pick it up.

I'll be getting the soundtrack to Endless Summer today if they have it.
