As I've been looking around for speakers, amps, etc. and just had the idea to start this thread.

I'm fond of tubes and natural grains, but beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

What do you guys think is the most pretty gear out there.

For me, the speakers that strikes me every time I see it is the DeVore O/96

They're absolutely stunning and while I haven't heard them they really just bring me back on looks alone, and I think that's something special.

As for amps, I am extremely fond of Leben as well. It looks like a 70s porno amp (that's what the wife calls it anyway), but they're absolutely stunning in person.

I've heard the O/96 speakers. They sound excellent.

Honestly considering them along with a few other for the somewhat distant future. Hear and loved the o/93s.

I am growing ever more fond of the D'Agostino Momentum power amp.... Sounds pretty damn good too!

At least they put in some potted plants to give it an earthy feel ;).

I like the purplish glow to the woofers themselves, but I don't think those speakers have wood that's particularly attractive. Photographing them on that floor definitely doesn't do them any favors.

Looks beautiful to me. I like the high tech looking stuff rather than the stuff with wood. I mean I like beautiful wood but not so much on gear.

Yeah, I agree. I only want wood for the speakers.

I love the Leben stuff. This isn't mine, it's a stock photo.

My favorite looking speakers (I don't think photos do them justice, they are very nice in real life). I like high gloss black on equipment :)

  21. This rig does nothing for me. Way too sci fi and less analogue looking but I assume its sounds great. Hate the pyramids. Sorry.

Me either. Looks like all the old failed R2D2 designs they dumped in a room.

Mentioned Leben in the first powt and love my 300XS.

I like that wood but you can actually pick pretty mich any wood IIRC for the veneer and John will make it happen. The actual FINISH on whatever you pick is amazing. You can't tell in the picture but the actual finish on them is top notch.
