Most Likely a Bootleg, but...

Here's a 3-CD set that is most likely a bootleg, since in the rest of the world, this same set is released as a two-disc, and I've never seen Universal use HDCD before.

That's not the real point though...look at all the typos! The OBI strip has two typos ("HTE BSET' instead of "THE BEST"), and for a laugh, look at the song titles. (And on one of them, consider it's from China. )

They were on Warner over here, if I remember correctly. Were they on a Universal label in the UK?

Vertigo (Polygram) originally. Never been anything to do with Warner.

Firstly they came out as bog standard German CD pressings from Hannover. Then they were remastered using SBM, and were pressed by PDO in France.

This one compilation came out using HDCD. It surprises me in view of their interest in sound quality that there is no sign of any hi-rez.
