The TGIF sitcoms on ABC. Every damn theme sounded the same

Family Ties is especially cringeworthy. I want to smash the faces of the singers especially when they end with the shalalala.

Absolute all-time great TV show, but when I watch my DVD box sets the theme gets monotonous after
    a few episodes.

Ha ha! I was going to post that one myself. I liked it for about 2 listens, and subsequently I couldn't skip over it fast enough.

Andy and Opie talking about how awful this song and "Alice" theme is pretty funny. It's somewhere on Youtube. I digress.

I love great TV theme songs and some favs stay in my head as earworms. Some of these kids shows themes posted are quite terrible as well.

That being said, I think "The Ropers" definitely take the cake in being awful. The song sounds like the Charlie Brown adult voices are singing solo throughout.

YES to Tedesco's guitar, but one can't deny the great Eddie Albert either!

Regarding "The Brady Bunch" (a classic old theme, by the way), I know that I have a new appreciation for that theme, after seeing this ...

The theme song is just about the only thing I know about Friends. Never got beyond the opening credits...

That song was great. (My opinion). My 2 year old daughter and I loved that show. The show had a lot of great musical themes.

I think you started your thread and closed it down in the one post! Can't top (bottom?) that.

You’re better off that way. And to think the song was released as a single!

With legendary songwriter Jeff Barry as one of the songwriters, and legendary singers Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams singing the song (after season one), I am surprised you find it "especially cringeworthy." To each his own.

"Neighbours"? I could see them far enough....

Star Trek Enterprise. After the memorable classic series theme, the reworking of Jerry Goldsmith’s classic The Motion Picture theme, and the distinguished strings and brass of Deep Space Nine and Voyager came....this?

Leaving aside whether it is suited for a Trek series, it’s a schmalzy and underwhelming piece of music in its own right.

I liked the show, but I always hated the theme to "Laverne & Shirley".
