In My Life is one I'd put up there. Also Get Back. Maybe Come Together and Here Comes The Sun. Also When I'm 64.

It's hard to answer this for me, am I just tired of a song or is it the most overrated?
    I'll have to wait.

I agree with Yesterday. It's a great composition but Paul has so many I like better.

the most typically 'hated' Beatles songs always seem to be ones I really like(d):
    flying
    wild honey pie
    revolution 9
    hold me tight
    it's only love
    everything sung by Ringo

but there's one song I always thought sounded sort of like a different band entirely--not bad, very good in fact, but a song that most anybody could have written. 'love me do' is cool for what it is (which is the funniest drunk exaggerated pronouncement of 'proto-metal!' I've ever had slobbered to me). but the beatles thing is mysteriously missing from it, so it's this one weird outlier in their entire catalog as a result. and yet, many seem to like it but not 'honey don't.'

this is as close to overrated I think they ever got. most of the rating that goes on is pretty accurate.

I never had the feeling it's rated very highly.

"Come Together" is a great song imo, wherever it rates.

    Well, it was a #1 hit - that's a pretty high rating!

-and will eventually include all the Beatles' greatest songs, as the various trolls try to outdo one another.

But I guess that's the point of the thread, so it's me doing the 'crapping in this instance. Sorry, carry on

Ok, good point. When I think of the overrated/underrated game, I think it refers to critical acclaim and the opinion of fans rather than mere commercial success.

'Love Me Do' - the Beatles' first single - charted higher in the UK than it should have because Brian Epstein bought many boxes of them.
