Chords: "Street Fighting Man" - The Rolling Stones
Picking: "Love In Vain" - The Rolling Stones

I didn't intend to pick 2 Stones songs but there you are.
I've guess I've been listening to little else lately...until I get the new Who downloads!

The first one that I thought of when I saw this thread: "Street Fighting Man" - The Rolling Stones.

The first one I thought of was "Jumpin' Jack Flash"...but it had already been used.
So had "Behind Blue Eyes", which would have gone with it.

Wish You Were Here -Is my favorite although many songs already mentioned are also way up on my list. This album and song always was my favorite since the night we saw them do it live before the album was released.

Cat Stevens -- so many, hard to choose between Father and Son, Peace Train, Moonshadow. Correction, make that The First Cut is the Deepest.

Simon and Garfunkel - as above. I'll add Homeward Bound to the list.

For a distinctive acoustic-guitar opening, it's hard to beat John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High."

When I hear those first few notes from Emerson Lake & Palmer's "From The Beginning" come on the radio I immediately recognize what song it is.
