Movie Based Video Game Ads

When I put a movie on, I don't mind seeing movie trailers before the film because it replicates the movie theatre experience. What I don't like is the ads for video games based on the movie I'm about to watch! They give away details about the movie so I'd like to see them put elsewhere on the disc. How do you all feel about this?

 

Can't you just press Menu to go right to the menu most times? I know not all of them let you do that but most do.

 

I could but I don't feel I should have to. The game ads are based on the movie you're about to watch so I think they would work better after the movie or in another location on the disc. This location can be accessed through the menu's "Game Promo" option.

 

Ah, it's just basic marketing- you present the ads in front of the movie that people want to watch to make sure they see the ads. It probably does help sell quite a few games.
