A film based on the life of Carlos Lehder Rivas written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

That would probably be one very tense film...like a three-hour version
of the "drug dealer rip-off" segment of Boogie Nights.

Daniel Day-Lewis can sure do Andrew Dice Clay better than Andrew Dice Clay! ;)

Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are gonna look spiffy in boots, sunglasses, and 10 gallon hats driving a Mercedes with Longhorns mounted on the hood.

    Hybrid = Abraham Lincoln Maltz?

Al looked awful in Cruising, so I'd guess he'd be up for it? De Niro doesn't care about anything anymore, so...

I'd go with Abraham Lincoln Meets Frankenstein....he did real well killing zombies. Now it's time to meet the big kahuna. ;)

At least 50 more films starring Marilyn Monroe.
I'd also like to see Juno Temple playing Marilyn Monroe.

I said this before and I will say it again:

I want a movie with Johnny Depp, Sean Penn and Steve Buscemi. It doesn't have to be a remake of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, but have a similar plot. Could even be in a contemporary modern day setting and doesn't have to be a Western. Johnny Depp (The Good,) Sean Penn (The Bad) and Steve Buscemi (The Ugly.)

    Simon A Arrr!

I'd love for a very talented director who's a great storyteller to make a film called Mike & Terry about the time that Michael Caine and Terence Stamp were flatmates in the early/mid sixties before they both got famous. I've been dreaming about this slice of Swinging London for years.

I would like to see The Beatles in their proposed film adaption of The Lord Of The Rings!

(they could have called it the lord of the Ringo's, but hey no one called and asked me :hide:)

Not sure when this would be made or when it would take place. There would have to be a time machine in the film and in real life, I suppose.

Boogie Nights II: Diggler's Done Digglin'.

30 years have passed since the end of the last movie; Dirk is broke and living in a 50 dollar a month flat in LA. He works as a dishwasher/mop boy in a strip club, and has no health insurance so he can't afford viagra to do what he does best. This is the story of Dirk's redemption. Starring Daniel Day Lewis as Dirk.

Both characters have identical twin brothers (somehow played by Roger Moore and Tom Selleck) who are completely evil. Bond mistakes Jones for his evil twin and vice-versa.
Okay, I'm not serious about that plot, but if they could figure out the timeline, they could come up with something.

I concur. If a Bond is involved, it should be James' evil, demented brother Jimmy Bond as played by Woody Allen in the original Casino Royale.

A thematically and historically faithful version of the Iliad, Odyssey, and Aeneid. Especially the latter. Jeez, it's only been 2000 years, guys...

It's based on GARBO, but the full story didn't come out until 1984. Pujol did live to attend the 40th anniversary of D-Day and honor those who died.
