MPS AAA vinyl jazz reissues

The next three in this series of reissues has just been announced:

Baden Powell - Tristeza On Guitar
Don Ellis - Soaring
The Kenny Clarke and Francy Boland Big Band - All Smiles

All three are interesting titles that I have high hopes for.

So far their releases have been wonderful, flat quiet vinyl, pressed I believe at Optimal and all AAA. I particularly recommend "Clark After Dark" - Clark Terry, "The Hub of Hubbard" - Freddie Hubbard, "Intercontinental" - Joe Pass, "Live At Montreux" - Monty Alexander Trio and the "Exclusively For My Friends" box by Oscar Peterson.

 

I'm not a big jazz fan, but I love Oscar Peterson and went ahead with the purchase of that boxset when it was first released. It's an awesome release and I would recommend it highly for any O.P. fan! FYI - these are also available individually.
