Is Train "Drops of Jupiter" still on the list to be released on vinyl? I know they are not a favorite on this site but I have always liked this album and hoped to see it on vinyl. It has been in the catalog for at least the last two years.

Didn't read the whole thread, so this may have been mentioned already: the Music Direct 2016 catalogue also lists the MFSL mono SACD of Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow. Hopefully they'll also do After Bathing at Baxter's.

I would be all in on Black Sabbath however they are licensed to WB in the US and Universal in Europe. The master tapes belong to Universal therefore if MOFI was to do it they would have to use the WB copy tapes hence no Original Master banner. I would seriously doubt that Adele's record company would want an audiophile pressing to compete with their own issue.

Yes, I guess we are lucky that they were at least allowed to release 8.

In hindsight, Im actually surprised we got the Sinatras we got. But, yeah, thats a sore spot with me also. Now thats not knocking mfsl. They tried Im sure. Bigger money and power prevailed.

Why do I have a Mofi Live/Dead LP in my collection? It came out a few years ago.

If only MOFI decided to re-issue this with the original mix... then I'd be happy...

I highly doubt that the Beatles masters will leave wherever they are stored in London.

I'd kill for a multi-channel SACD of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Just imagine hearing "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart" fall apart all around you.

I'll also lobby for Audio Fidelity to add some more Warren Zevon to their catalog. Excitable Boy is what brought me to these boards in the first place.

Does anyone know how the eighties/nineties era titles remastered by A.F. have sold? Particularly Jane's Addiction, The Scorpions, Sarah McLachlan and Mike & The Mechanics. How about the Weezer and Pixies titles remastered by Mobile Fidelity? Did they sell well?

The Weezer Blue Album is now being gold numbered around 16,000.... So I guess that's pretty good? I'm not sure what kind of numbers are good for a $30 audiophile vinyl reissue.

I sent an email asking if any more digital Weezer was planned, they said no unfortunately.

  19. Are you referring to the Silver LP for Business As Usual?

No interest by the artists or the license is invaluable.

If that's really a mono SACD of Surrealistic Pillow, then it's a dream come true for me.

Remembered another big one - R.E.M. from Monster on. (I don't even remember the music after New Adventures in Hi-Fi because I found them so unpleasant to listen to.)
