All I can say is, after more than 50 years of listening to the Beatles, I still get the bumps hearing certain songs on the radio. Especially hearing young people singing along!

But I guess I could say the same for other bands I enjoy including old Heavy Metal!

 

Not the pleasant kind.

Oh man, the first 8 seconds of "Distant Lover" by Marvin Gaye and the last 1 minute of "Mothership Connection". The stuff comes from God.

 

When somebody asks what's so great about the mellotron I refer them to the studio version of this track. Always.

 

I love goosebumps. When I say that I like a song is what it's all about. It's what I search for. I don't fake liking music.

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain is my go to.

 

It's Over by Roy Orbison. Happens a lot with Roy.

Oh great, another needless and boring "scientific" study that leaves you feeling stupid for having read it.

 

I play this track so often, and it still gives me goosebumps.

 

Get the good kind of goosebumps with this one, at the sax/clarinet climax.

 

I get mental goosebumps.

 

This song gives me goosebumps all over.

 

I got goosebumps on both forearms while shooting this video during the guitar solo on this cover of Wilco's "Impossible Germany."

 

I just played disc four on "Pure McCartney" and I have to say that this guy gives me goosebumps with his ways with music. And with such a sytlistic variation and the folk-ballad "Don't let it Bring You Down" one moment and the wild synth-groove of "Temporary Secretary" the next.

 

The tragic irony of 'Hard Times Are Over,' the last track on Double Fantasy. Yoko takes the lead vocal, but you can clearly hear John providing backing vocals.

 

If the choral section of this doesn't move you, I'd have to check if you're breathing.

 

Some of the early Santana stuff does it for me.

 

Tons of songs give me goosebumps, even if only during certain parts. And I'd be surprised if it's not the same for everyone here.
