James Booker was interred at Providence Memorial Park in Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. "Dr. John described Booker as 'the best black, gay, one-eyed junkie piano genius New Orleans has ever produced.' Flamboyant in personality, he was known as 'the Black Liberace.'" (I saw Booker in concert with Dr. John on 21 February 1974.)

Keith Clark was buried at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Clark was a member of The United States Army Band. "He played Taps for U.S. President John F. Kennedy's funeral, which is considered to be the most famous rendition of the song, accidentally fluttering on the 6th note."

Leopold Auer was interred at the Ferncliff Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hartsdale, Westchester County, New York. He was a Hungarian violinist, teacher, conductor, and composer, regarded as the preeminent violinist in Europe. "Tchaikovsky intended the first performance of Violin Concerto in D to be given by Leopold Auer, for whom he had written his Sérénade mélancolique for violin and orchestra, and accordingly dedicated the work to him. Auer refused, however, meaning that the planned premiere for March 1879 had to be cancelled and a new soloist found."

Sister Rosetta Tharpe was buried at Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Little Richard's first public performance outside of church came when Sister Rosetta Tharpe invited him onstage. Johnny Cash admitted Tharpe was one of his favorite singers. She had a broad influence. Raising Sand by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss contains a cover of "Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us," written by Sam Phillips.

  25. To me the Nick Drake seems the more 'real', more English out of all of them the fact that's still the same old headstone from '74 and it's not been cleaned, etc it's an old headstone nothing more nothing less, some of the pics on here show graves/monuments that are well over the top
