How about the great[Motown]drummer[Benny Papa Zita Benjamin]who played on most of the classic Motown songs of the sixties.

 

Yes, imo all of the Funk Brothers deserve more credit. Pistol Allen was a great drummer too.

 

Yes he was and so was Uriel Jones,but Papa Zita was there first.

Very important part of the band. Songwriting, image at first. Yeah i always liked his songs the best and Axl, some Slash. Izzy was a very underrated member of that band.
