    Shirley Ellis sang "The Name Game" in 1964, but her husband Lincoln Chase (who wrote the song) wrote himself into the lyrics.

    The Proclaimers appeared in the video of the Peter Kay/Matt Lucas cover of 500 Miles that was done for Comic Relief.

    To make it more unusual I think the cover featured the original backing track with new vocals on the song (apart from the end chorus which was left as the original vocals also).
